AI or IRL?
- AI is getting incredibly impressive at making convincing content. So much so that, by the time this gets uploaded, these tips might be outdated. Regardless, as of right now, these tips are pretty solid for catching flaky AI pics.
- Check the hands, faces, and symmetry. AI often messes up fingers, facial features, or creates mismatched earrings and logos.
- Look for background glitches. Things might blur together, melt into each other, or have unrealistic depth or perspective.
- Watch for lighting and texture issues. Shadows may fall in the wrong direction, and skin might look unnaturally smooth or plastic-like. A lot of times AI makes things look too perfect or cinematic.
- Zoom in on text and sources—AI struggles with readable text on signs or shirts, and reverse image searches often lead nowhere.
